"Christmas in a Shoebox" – Spreading Joy Together!

On November 11, 2025, we, along with partner companies from the Gölshausen industrial park, hosted our first joint packing party for the international children's aid organization Samaritan's Purse's "Christmas in a Shoebox" campaign.
We are still overwhelmed by how heartwarming it is to do good together and bring joy to children in need.
Thanks to this collaborative effort, in addition to the 60 gift boxes we provided, valued at €700, we were also able to donate €1,750 for shipping and distribution.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved – especially our partner companies ROAD Deutschland GmbH , LINDÖRFER + STEINER Group , ZG Raiffeisen Tankstelle Gölshausen , EWO GmbH , and Bauer Systeme for their active and generous support!
Moments like these demonstrate that together we can achieve more – with heart, team spirit, and responsibility. We are already looking forward to the next packing party in 2026!

On November 8th and 9th, we presented the electric stair climber from Zonzini at the Haus Bau Energie trade fair in Sindelfingen. 

Visitors had the opportunity to experience the stair climber live and to learn about its applications and technical details directly on site.

With the Haus Bau trade fair in Sindelfingen, we have successfully concluded our trade fair season and would like to thank all trade fair organizers and visitors.

This year's construction trade fair took place in Pforzheim from September 26th to 28th, 2025. 

We were able Zonzini innovative tracked stair climbing robot to many interested visitors. The response was overwhelming – we had many engaging conversations, valuable exchanges, and made exciting new contacts.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us and to the construction trade fair for the excellent organization.

From March 11th to 13th, 2025, this year's LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions, place in Stuttgart. With 1,625 exhibitors and 65,719 visitors, the fair was a resounding success. Time for a look back at an eventful 2024: The year 2024 is behind us – and it was a very special year for ims Umgangstechnik GmbH: We celebrated our 25th company anniversary!

A quarter-century of innovation, passion, and success stories that fill us with pride and gratitude. Our thanks go to everyone who made 2024 so unforgettable:

– And to all our partners, suppliers, and companions who inspire and support us.

Christmas is a time of joy, giving, and
togetherness. But for many children, this joy remains a distant dream. That's why it's so important to make a small contribution that can have a big impact. With heartfelt dedication, we packed twenty shoeboxes to bring smiles to the faces of children aged two to nine.
With our "Christmas in a Shoebox" campaign, we not only want to do something good for children, but also show that every little bit helps.

On June 14th, we celebrated a milestone with over 100 guests: our 25th anniversary! There were three special highlights:

First, our Managing Director, Dennis Angst, took the floor and delivered a moving speech. He reviewed the past years and thanked our dedicated team and our valued customers and suppliers for their loyalty and support. Speaking on behalf of the ims team, our Head of Engineering, Roland Kauselmann, compared the company to a gearbox: "Such a gearbox typically consists of a housing, shafts, and gears. The housing is the elegant structure in which we work together. The main shaft and drive shaft are, in this case, the boss. The gears are us, the employees. Each gear and each shaft supports the next and determines the function of the entire gearbox." As a gesture of gratitude and commitment, the ims team, together with management, planted an apple tree. To top it all off, we were able to celebrate the German national team's successful start to the European Championship together! The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and grateful throughout.

The anniversary celebration was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues, business partners, and friends and to celebrate the start of a successful anniversary year together. We are proud of 25 years of ims handling technology and look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our success story! 

From March 19–21, 2024, this year's LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, place in Stuttgart. With 1,610 exhibitors and 67,420 visitors, the fair was a resounding success. Get a glimpse of the event and visit us next year at LogiMAT 2025 – we look forward to seeing you!
